Dr. Ulrike A. Sawall-Rodriques
Dr. Sawall-Rodriques is from Lubeck, Germany. She received her veterinarian degree from the Freie Universitat Berlin, Germany. Dr. Uli worked in the small animal veterinary clinic of her mother in Lubeck, Germany before completing her studies in Berlin. She has owned and operated Southshore Veterinary Service since 2008.
I have been working at Southshore Veterinary Service ever since I moved to Montana in 2002. I started out in a kennel and veterinary assistant position since I only carried my German veterinarian license. In 2007 I finally earned my American veterinarian license allowing me to practice veterinarian medicine at Southshore Veterinary Service. At the end of 2007, I purchased the clinic and continued to work as a veterinarian.
I love to take care and heal animals. I love to be part of people’s lives while needing help with their pets. I feel I am here for the animals and their owner.
What am I doing when I am not working at the clinic? Mostly I take time to be with my family. Which includes all of my animals! I love to go for walks/hikes-see my dogs having fun while I enjoy the fresh air. I do enjoy swimming, martial arts and some dancing. My best buddies at home are Pita, Kasimir and Letty – but of course there are many more….
Dr. Deborah Caldwell-Skow
Dr. Deb Caldwell received her veterinary degree in 1980 from CSU. Along with raising Quarter Horses and alfalfa on their Colorado farm, she & her husband owned a veterinary practice there for 30 years. A lifelong dream was fulfilled with a move to Montana in 2015. Dr. Deb began working with Uli in January 2016. This wonderful opportunity has allowed Deb to continue helping animals and their caregivers, a passion she’s pursued over half her life. Deb spends free time with her family sharing all the Montana outdoors has to offer. Deb’s herd of horses, four Rottweilers and eleven cats are also thrilled to be living the Montana dream!
